Mesh Paper Cut

In this Grasshopper tutorial you’ll learn how to planarize the quad faces of a mesh, ensuring they’re flat. After that, we’ll show you how to extrude these flat faces to a point, turning them into building blocks.

Next, we’ll unroll these blocks and place them on the ground. We’ll line them up in a row for easy access and reference. Finally, we’ll add the necessary details to these blocks. By the end, you’ll have a ready-to-use paper cut template that you can use for real-life fabrication.
