Spherical Sculpture

In this Grasshopper tutorial, we will first generate parametric noise on an icosahedron mesh using the Nautilus plugin.

We will then advance the modeling by designing a spherical sculpture.

The logic behind this is that the normal deformation is divided into two parts.

The excess amount of deformation is fused with a spherical mesh, resulting in a unified quad mesh. This final form is ideal for 3D printing.
